Tuesday, 11th June ballot cancelled

The ballot scheduled to be held today, Tuesday, 11th June, has been cancelled.

The Section Committee was informed at short notice by SIPTU that no union officer was available to observe the voting in DCU, as required under ballot rules. The Section Committee apologises for the inconvenience caused, especially to those who have made special arrangements in order to vote.

Remaining opportunities to vote on Haddington Road are:

Friday, 14th June 4-5.30 in the union office  (PGO8 behind main restaurant)
 
Wednesday,19th June, 12-2,  in the Street Area

The Section Committee urges all DCU members to take part in this crucial ballot.

Haddington Road ballots

The DCU Section Committee urges all members to turn out for the critical vote on the Haddington Road proposals.

Author, journalist and trade union activist Padraig Yeates is to give a talk on the 1913 lockout on Wednesday, April 10th, at 1pm, in Room CG04 in the Henry Grattan Building.
