The SIPTU Section Committee has restated its position regarding increases to working hours which are being imposed under the terms of the Haddington Road Agreement. Advertisements
Staff offered a move to an ‘acting-up’ position are required to work 37 hours under Haddington Road.
In response to queries, the Section Committee has clarified that staff can take a pay ‘adjustment’ instead of extra hours imposed under Haddington Road.
Following discussions with management and an information meeting with members yesterday, the Section Committee has issued a statement aimed at clarifying the position on working hours for SIPTU members at DCU.
