Survey shows serious concerns over workload system

A large majority of academic staff in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences who took part in our recent survey expressed serious concerns over the Faculty’s new workload system.

Most of the 43 participants in the online survey pointed to significant gaps in the workload framework’s capacity to capture the extent, variety and complexity of their activities across teaching, research and administration.

Results of the survey are summarised here. Detailed responses, edited to preserve the anonymity of participants, are available here.
